Emmanuel began working in the hospitality industry since 2006, Born and race in
Mexico City with Oaxaca roots Emmanuel has been bartending in California for almost 11 years. Starting out as a dishwasher, Emmanuel worked his way to being behind the bar and eventually became a bar manager. Along the way, he gained valuable training under the mentorship of Jorge Vargas, Marsella Macias, and other industry leaders. His experience has ranged from working in a craft cocktail bar, an elegant wine bar, and a wide variety of restaurants, including a David Kinch establishment. His interest in hospitality, love for providing quality service and drinks to guests, and passion for sharing about his culture inspires him to continue expanding his knowledge and expertise. Through his work, Emmanuel hopes to give back to the community and encourage people from diverse backgrounds to be empowered and share their stories through their creativity and craft.
