Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Apple Competition 2021

You could win $2500, $1000 or $500 in the Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Apple cocktail competition.

Members of Straight from the Distillery (SFTD)! You can enter an original Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Apple cocktail recipe for a chance to win $2500 (1st place), $1000 (2nd place) or $500 (3rd place). This contest is open to members of Straight from the Distillery Facebook pages in NorCal, SoCal, Chicago, New York, Virginia, and Florida who are 21 years of age or older. Refer to “the rules” for specific details regarding judging and social media requirements.

Round 1: June 1st – 10th

Participants must join one of the following FB groups:

Participants Post Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Apple Cocktail to their respective SFTD Local Pages. limit one entry and one post per member with the following in the body of the post
- General Inspiration of Cocktail
- Explanation of Taste/Profile
- Photo of Cocktail
Top 8 recipes from each SFTD market page (as chosen by ARAR and SFTD moderators based on criteria below) will advance to the competition

Round 2: June 11th-18th

Top 8 entries are posted to dedicated closed SFTD Competition Facebook Group by ARAR and SFTD moderators.
Votes (likes) will advance each head-to-head on Monday and Thursday each week.
3 rounds of head-to-head competition from each market to determine grid winners in each of the 6 regions.
Each round lasts 4 days. Winners will be featured on closed SFTD Competition Facebook Group and regional SFTD pages.
Votes will be made by fellow SFTD Facebook page members on regional SFTD Facebook pages, anyone from around the world can vote for you! Vote Here

Round 3: June 19th-25th

6 SFTD Regional winners compete against each other in the final round. Judged by ARAR with the following criteria:
- General Inspiration of Cocktail – 20%
- Use of Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Apple – 30%
- Perceived Taste (perceived balance with explanation) – 30%
- Appearance (photo and cocktail) – 20%

HOW TO ENTER

All initial entries submitted through microsite.
ARAR and SFTD moderators choose the top 8 from each of the 6 regions to move to the competition grid (grid then shared on SFTD regional page).
8 finalists from each region compete head-to-head (competition grid) on closed competition SFTD Facebook Group to determine 1 winner from each region. Head-to-head winners chosen based on “likes” each Monday and Thursday.
6 total winners (1 from each region) to be judged by a panel for top 3 prizes.
First place will receive $2500, second place $1000 and third place $500.

Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. You must be at least 21 years of age, a member of your state’s Straight from the Distillery Facebook page and a legal resident of the United States, residing in CA, IL, VA, FL, NY to participate. Contest void wherever prohibited or restricted by law.

CONTEST PERIOD: Start Date June 1st, 2021

Entry deadline: June 10th, 2021

Winner announced: June 25th, 2021

HOW TO ENTER: To enter the contest participants must visit Straight From the Distillery Competition Closed Facebook Group during the contest period and register their interest in submitting an entry. Entrants must then submit a written recipe of a cocktail featuring Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Apple as well as a photo of the composed cocktail to their local chapter’s Straight From The Distillery Facebook Group wall. Cocktails must contain no more than 1.5 oz of Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Apple, and in any event contain less than three (3) ounces of total alcohol ingredients. All entries become the property of Brown-Forman/Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Apple.

Limit one entry per person.

JUDGING: Prize winners will be selected based on the following criteria:

General Inspiration of Cocktail – 20%

Use of Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Apple – 30%

Perceived Taste – 30%

Appearance – 20%

Winners must be current members of Straight from the Distillery Facebook page. Judging is the sole discretion of Another Round Another Rally (ARAR) and a panel of judges selected by ARAR. Judging will be concluded on or about May 23, 2021.

Another Round Another Rally (ARAR), Brown-Forman/Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Apple and participating promotional companies are not in any way liable for damage, loss or injury resulting from computer malfunctions, misdirected or incomplete entries or acceptance and use of the prize. Another Round Another Rally (ARAR), reserves the right in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend this contest should virus, bugs, or other causes beyond the control of the sponsor corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the contest. Another Round Another Rally (ARAR) reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate or suspend the contest. Another Round Another Rally (ARAR), Brown-Forman/Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Apple assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communication line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries.

CAUTION: Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made; sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such attempt. Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such entrant to the fullest extent of the law.

ELIGIBILITY: Employees of Another Round Another Rally (ARAR), Brown-Forman/Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Apple, their affiliates, as well as the advertising/promotion agency, and the immediate families and household members of each are not eligible to win. Holders of wholesale or retail licenses are not eligible. You must be at least 21 years of age and a legal resident of the United States, residing in CA, IL, VA, FL, NY.

PRIZES:

There will be 3 prizes awarded. Prize consists of $2500, $1000 and $500. Taxes are the sole responsibility for the winner. A 1099 will be issued if the prize exceeds $600. No substitution or transfer of prize permitted. Alcohol is not part of any prize. Unclaimed prize(s) may not be awarded.

CLAIMING PRIZES/RELEASE: Winner(s) may be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and liability release. By accepting his or her prize, the winner: (a) releases Another Round Another Rally (ARAR), Brown-Forman/Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Apple and their affiliated companies and licensed alcohol wholesalers and retailers from any all liability claims, action or proceedings arising out of or for injuries or damages sustained while involved in a promotion activity or connection with the use of the prizes; as well as (b) consents to the use by Another Round Another Rally (ARAR), Brown-Forman/Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Apple for promotional and advertising purposes in connection with this promotion and general use of the images submitted with entries, of his or her name and/or likeness and/or voice without further compensation. Proof of identification and age verification will be required.

WINNERS’ LIST: For the name of the prize winners, please send a self-addressed stamped envelope to Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Apple ARAR Competition Winners List, Red Moon Marketing, 7804 Fairview Road, Box #309, Charlotte, NC 28226 before 06/15/2021. Do not send entries to this address.
